A study released by the National Institute for Dementia Education indicates that photo reminiscence therapy can improve the quality of life for those living with dementia by reducing social isolation and improving general cognitive performance, notes Digital Camera World. Reminiscence Therapy is the discussion of past events, activities and experiences using visual, tangible aids such as photographs or familiar items as prompts. New Zealand-based camera slider and timelapse gear company Syrp has announced that it’s rebranding itself as Syrp Lab. Its products will also be rebranded and brought into the new Manfrotto Move ecosystem, reports DIY Photography. Syrp originally became a mainstream name thanks to the wild success of its 2012 Kickstarter for the Genie timelapse machine, adds PetaPixel.
