PhotoShelter has acquired United Kingdom-based digital asset management (DAM) software provider Third Light in a move that is designed to expand PhotoShelter’s capabilities for enterprises, organizations, and visual creatives, reports PetaPixel. In addition to powering name-brand organizations, the Third Light acquisition will give PhotoShelter the Chorus DAM application, which has a suite of collaboration tools that can enhance the digital work experience. Social News: Instagram Was Top Downloaded App in Q4 2021

Instagram is benefiting from TikTok’s ban in India, and has now reclaimed the top spot in terms of total global downloads as of the fourth quarter of 2021, reports Tech Crunch. According to new data published by app intelligence firm Sensor Tower, Instagram just its best quarter since at least 2014, with app installs up 10 percent over Q3. TC adds that Q4 2021 was only the second time in the past two years that TikTok wasn’t the No. 1 app by worldwide downloads.
