Zenfolio has acquired Format, a popular website builder used by professional photographers and artists worldwide, reports Tech Radar. Financial details of the acquisition were note released. Zenfolio says that with the acquisition it will be able to provide the most comprehensive service offering to photographers and artists. Format has made a few major updates to its platform this year, including the addition of a prints marketplace and the launch of Workflow, a new suite of tools designed to help professional photographers run their businesses, adds PetaPixel. Photographer and educator Charles Traub’s new book Tickety-Boo (Damiani) “puts aside any attempt to describe a specific thing, like war or the theater of politics,” declares The Washington Post, adding that the Traub’s new work “serves as a response to the ever-evolving complexities of life.” Over the span of four years, Traub used a smartphone to record memories and sites as he went about his days, ultimately creating a series of diptychs to form what the publisher calls “a kind of pictorial completeness.” Read the full Story >>
