DJI’s newly announced Ronin 4D cinema camera system combines a cinema camera with four-axis image stabilization, LiDAR focusing and wireless transmission to create the ultimate all-in-one shooting experience, notes DP Review. At the heart of the Ronin 4D is CineCore 3.0, a proprietary chipset DJI calls “its most powerful cinematic imaging platform to date.” According to DJI, this system can capture internal 8K Raw video “with precise color reproduction.” Read the full Story >>

French visual artist Samir Belhamra wanted to impart his own personal touch to the iconic moai monoliths, more commonly known as the Easter Island Heads, and the result, notes My Modern Met, is “Gate Keeper to the Stars,” a photo of a monolith made at an angle so that it appears to be staring up toward the night sky.
