Rode has released two updates for the Rode Wireless Go II microphones, bringing new podcasting and live streaming functionality and allowing complete remote configuration from your smartphone, notes DIY Photography. The latest software update brings the Rode Central app to iOS and Android. Industry News: Olympus Is Now Officially 'OM System'

Olympus’s parent company OM Digital has officially chosen OM System as the brand's new name. There are still some Olympus cameras on the market and those won't be rebranded, so the two names will co-exist for a while. What We're Reading: Documenting a Cancer Journey

Photographer Angelica Edwards met Keyla "Nunny" Reece when she took an assignment to cover a story about hospital parking fees for her student newspaper at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After learning that Reece had been diagnosed with stage-4 metastatic breast cancer, Edwards began document her journey. Reece wanted her son, Ryan, who was 10 years old at the time, to be able to look back and understand what his mother went through as he got older and she was no longer here, notes NPR.   Read the full Story >>
