Audition for Dreams and Possibilities, a film project and installation by Praxis Studio (Delia Bajo and Brainard Carey) that will be shown at the Sculpture Court of the Whitney at Altria from March 12 - 22.

To audition, all you have to do is to film yourself answering one of these questions:

Please speak to the camera.

1. What was your greatest disappointment? What did you do then?

2. Describe a moment when you felt more free than you ever have since then.

3. Who do you trust? Why?

4. Who do you do for fun?

5. What is your most negative and recurring thought?

Or you may chose to act in a brief scene. Read the scene below and memorize it before you start filming.

Please speak to the camera and read with enthusiasm:

Come a little closer to me, because I am going to tell you why I am here. Just yesterday, I was running down the street and I ran into an old friend, you know what he said? (improvise here) After that I walked home and thought about those words and couldn't wait to tell you now. I am running out now to tell everyone I know because it was so strange and beautiful.

If your audition is selected for the actual film itself, Praxis Studio will ask you to come to the filming at The Whitney at Altria during the show. If you cannot go to the museum, your footage might still be included.
