It’s not too late to plan a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art to see Double Portrait, the first joint exhibition of the work of Pentagram’s Paula Scher and Push Pin’s Seymour Chwast. The show includes more than 300 pieces selected and installed by the creative couple and remains on view through April 14. begins at 11:30: Process: Inspiration to Inking. Join Brendan Leach, Mike Dawson and Josh Bayer as they discuss the process behind writing a comic beginning with research and inspiration, to inking and finishing a comic.
begins at 2:30: Comics Are A Self-Starter Career. An informal conversation with Tim Paul, Bill Roundy and Melody Often on what it means to really work in comics. They will cover motivation to stating your own career in comics as well as overcoming hurdles, excuses, creative blocks, and deciding on subject matter, plus more!
