Call for Submissions: Spacebuster | on Nothingness

On Nothingness allows for noise, confusion and illegibility, to see something where others see nothing. Storefront is looking for artists to create site-specific installations or performances inside the Spacebuster on the concept of Nothingness. Deadline for submissions: April 10. Call for Applications: Fire Island Artist Residency.  The first residency program in the United States exclusively for artists identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer, is now accepting applications for the 2013 summer program to be held in Cherry Grove, a historic LGBTQ community of Fire Island. FIAR is pleased to announce that the selection of residents for the 2013 program will be made by distinguished guest jurors and celebrated artists Jack Pierson and Mickalene Thomas.
