Thursday, November 1-Sunday, November 415th Annual Editions | Artist’s Book Fair. Founded in 1998 by Susan Inglett of I.C. Editions and Brooke Alexander Editions, theEditions|Artists Book Fair has grown in size and stature to become the premier showcase for contemporary publishers and dealers, presenting the latest and greatest in prints, multiples and artists books. This year E|AB hosts over sixty exhibitors, presenting hundreds of artists representing New York, Johannesburg, Amsterdam, London, Paris and points in between. Friday, November 2-Saturday, November 3: Design Studies Symposium | Research, Reflection, Practice. To mark the start of its new Master of Arts in Design Studiesprogram, Parsons The New School for Design presents a two-day symposium that explores this growing field and its intersections with the humanities and the social sciences, as well as the design industries. An international roster of scholars, practitioners, and entrepreneurs will consider how design both shapes specific experiences and embodies fundamental assumptions about the world around us. Wollman Auditorium, 65 West 11th Street, 5th Floor, NY, NY.
