Thanks to everyone who jumped in on the Last Rays of Summer Book Contest to create a DART first: There were nothing but correct answers from all over, Vancouver to Rome (thanks Giovanni!).

So I went with first in: Daniel Horowitz, a Vinegar Hill-based illustrator whose work was selected for AI31, plus Isabelle Dervaux, another Brooklyn-based illustrator, who included exact directions to the pool. She wrote:

The pop up pool is at Pier 2 in B in Brooklyn Bridge Park off of the park greenway close to the Furman Street side.

It is hard to get to if you are not used to go to Dumbo or to Pier 6. The best way to get there is to go through Pier 1 at Old Fulton Street and Furman. The alternative is to go through the entrance of Pier 6. Go to the end of Atlantic Avenue towards the East River, cross under the BQE. The entrance is across Furman Street.
