Continuing: It’s All In Your Perspective at El Barrio’s Artspace PS109

Fable Jones Studios’ latest group exhibition, It’s All In Your Perspective is now on view in Spanish Harlem’s very own El Barrio’s Artspace PS109 @elbarriosartspace. This exhibit features over 60 visual artists from across NYC specializing in sculpture, photography, video, traditional, and digital media. The exhibit encapsulates themes of connection, identity, memory, belonging, reclamation, and reflection.

Discover, experience, engage, and celebrate the artists! This is a great opportunity for art lovers, seasoned collectors, local businesses, and organizations to inquire, purchase, commission, and collaborate with our artists to develop future private and public projects. Over the next month, our Instagram page will be dedicated to highlighting the work and practice of each artist featured in the exhibit. For Fable Jones Studios, supporting the Arts is an investment in the final frontier of freedom and self expression. Without the Arts, the world cannot dream, find hope, or inspiration to move forward. For any questions or inquiries, please contact the curator Fable Jones @fable_jones at fablejonesstudios@gmail.com. Last chance, Saturday, August 9: Grand Unity at Equity Gallery

“Like physics, artmaking is a way of describing and making sense of the world around us.” This is the premise of a group show organized by Transcender, which was created to help artists connect and share work with each other. Above, art by DART subscriber @klayjamesenos: two from the Algorithmic Field Painting series

The term "Grand Unified Theory" in physics merges the electromagnetic, weak, and strong forces into a single force at high energies. The ‘unified force’ can’t be directly observed, but can be described by mathematical models. Grand Unified Theory models, or ‘GUTs’ allow for the possibility of a previous time in the development of our universe when the three distinct forces were integrated. GUTs are believed to be a step towards a universal Theory of Everything.

Transcender Transcender’s founders realized that creating in isolation was an obstacle. We needed practice putting words and meaning around the work we were making in our studios. We needed fellowship, encouragement and feedback to feed our creative exploits. Since its beginnings in 2017, transcender has provided all that and more to a wide range of participants with diverse visual arts practices. More
