Honor Roll: 2020 Weather Photographer of the Year Winners

An image of the Brooklyn Bridge during a blizzard has been named the winner of the Royal Meteorological Society’s 2020 Weather Photographer of the Year competition. The photo, by Rudolf Sulgan, was taken 2018 during an El Niño, a series of climatic changes that often disrupts normal weather patterns. There were more than 7,700 photographs entered into the competition. “My main concern and inspiration is that my images hopefully do a small part in combating climate change,” he added.
