Tonight the second annual Chelsea Art Walk is on, with over 125 participating venues keeping extended hours and offering a huge variety of events, from artist and curator talks to screenings, live performances, book signings and more.
A venue map is provided by the M Chelsea art map online. The Exhibitionist iPhone/iPad app, available for free download through iTunes, will map out participating locations, display photos of the exhibitions, and highlight special events.

This just in: Today, Friends of the High Line will open the High Line Rink – Made for All by UNIQLO, a new, outdoor roller-skating rink under the High Line. Open for a limited time this summer, from Thursday, July 28 to Monday, September 26, the High Line Rink will be one of the only open-air roller-skating venues in Manhattan, with regularly scheduled theme nights and other fun public activities for New Yorkers and visitors of all ages. Admission will be FREE FOR THE FIRST 500 PEOPLE on the first three days of operation thanks to UNIQLO. Located inside The Lot, at West 30th Street and 10th Avenue.
