Call For Entries: Latin American Fotografia 7

Entries are now being accepted for the Latin American Fotografía 7, the world’s premiere competition highlighting photography from Latin American.

Just by entering you’ll have your work seen by an international jury of top creative professionals. (Stay tuned for more on the 2018 jury.) Winning work is spotlighted in an international traveling exhibition with stops in New York City; Bogotá, Colombia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Brooklyn, NY.

Winning work will also be added to the Latin American Fotografía 7 Catalog and the LAF Archive.

One winner form Latin American Fotografía 7 will also receive a scholarship for a workshop at the Escuela de Fotografía Motivarte in Argentina.

All entrants receive an invitation with a discount ticket of $25 to attend The Party, AI-AP’s annual launch event in November to celebrate new AI-AP books and contest winners.

AI-AP is happy to provide letters of recommendation to winning international artists seeking visas and green cards for permanent residency in the U.S.

All Latin American citizens living anywhere are invited to submit work; that includes Puerto Rico, Cuba, México, Belice, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Guyanas, Surinam, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay and citizens of Spain and Portugal and all spanish- and portuguese-speaking countries.

Also eligible: Everyone living or studying in Latin America, regardless of nationality; everyone with Latin American clients or projects, regardless of nationality; and all images with Latin American subject matter created by anyone, regardless of nationality.

Work created or published between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 for both print and digital media is eligible, as is work created in 2017 for publication in 2018. All images in an ongoing project that stared earlier and continued into 2018, whether published or not, are also eligible.

The categories for this year’s competition include Editorial, Books, Advertising, Graphics and Promotion, Posters, Unpublished self-generated personal work, Student work and more.
