EAST WELCOMES WEST THIS WEEK as Jonathan LeVine Gallery hosts an opening reception on Saturday for two solo exhibitions. Work by Shepard Fairy and Souther Salazar, both of Los Angeles, will be on view at the gallery through July 21. But first, on Thursday, June 21st, from 7:00 to 11:00 pm, the gallery will host an opening party in DUMBO for large-scale installations by Shepard Fairey. The Tree
Show is a fundraising effort for San Francisco's Friends of the Urban Forest, a non-profit organization that plants over 1,500 trees a year to keep San Francisco communities green. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of artwork will go towards their work.
