Open Spaces

In conjunction with the publication of "Open Spaces," an exhibition of 37 of Cathie's paintings, sketches and etchings runs through December 30th at Heights Arts at the Library, Heights Main Library. 2340 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118

Tune in on Thursday, October 12, 2006, Thursday at 7:30 pm on WVIZ TV, Cleveland's PBS station, for an interview with Cathie on the Applause show.

Join the artist on Sunday, October 14th, 2006, at 2 pm for a stimulating talk and discussion about her thought process and explorations in the medium of clayboard.

Exhibition of a new series of paintings entitled "Doif?!"

Inspired by the language of cartoons denoting action sounds -- the crash of impact, the squawking deflation of self-esteem, or any caricature-able phenomena in need of a sound, these works include various twisted-up heads and distorted bits of facial expression.
