Who Shot Rock & Roll Opens at Brooklyn
The much anticipated exhibition Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present, organized by photo historian and author Gail Buckland, opens today at the Brooklyn Museum. This stunning collection of over 175 images by 105 photographers does more than chronicle the history of a cultural phenomenon. It also proves without a doubt that some of the most talented photographers from the second half of the twentieth century forward found in the rock scene a source for images that would establish their place in the world.
