A year and a half has passed since generative AI captured the public imagination. But, as writer Ian Bogost noted recently in The Atlantic, it's already feeling passe. And that, he adds, is how you know it's really taking over: What once seemed a "tool to supercharge your imagination" has become another work tool, he notes.
