Amado será el que ama. Ariana y Rosaria de Trinidad, Cuba. The title of my ongoing, candid portrait project is from a line by Cuban poet, José Martí. With this work, I hope to show a more intimate, thoughtful portrayal of Cubans throughout the island who’ve been compelled to walk a tight rope—navigating the space between resignation and hope.
