This gentleman stood out, creating a trompe-l'oeil effect, almost like a part of Tom Wesselmann’s “Still Life #30,” from 1963, but actually he is looking at a photo from the famous “kitchen debate” between Richard Nixon and Nikita Khrushchev, which took place in a suburban model home at the American National Exhibition, in Moscow, in 1959. The subject was almost still, imperceptibly leaning forward, enthralled in his personal flashbacks of the Cold War.
