For this piece I read Hank Aaron's autobiography and included imagery from his life, from his early love of Dick Tracy comics, to the $2 and sandwiches his mother gave him when he left his home at 18. I wanted the illustration to encompass his life in the lead up to breaking Babe Ruth's record.
