Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut—a witty and poignant dark satire revolving around the life and death of Billy Pilgrim who was once an American soldier and prisoner of war, and later a time traveler to a utopian planet, and suburban optometrist. My concept inspired by an event in the book when Billy watches black-and-white newsreel backwards and how Tralfamadorians viewed reality as a thousand images in one glance. November 2024.
