Cherished childhood memory of me and my dad during the summer of ’98. We lived at my grandparents’ small East Los Angeles home briefly yet I have many core memories that I reminisce from our time living there. The door fence in the background is a motif found throughout the rest of this series. It was made by my grandpa. We couldn’t afford a proper fence so he made this from scrap doors from the factory he worked at, at the time. With this series I wanted to capture the warm, happy emotions I feel when looking back at these childhood moments.
