The New York Times for Kids: Halloween Issue. October 2018. Our first Kids sections in 2017 were a hit, so The New York Times for Kids became monthly as of January of 2018, with a new issue in the paper on the last Sunday of each month. For our October special edition, we featured a Halloween themed split-run of three covers.
