"Elephants in Donkey Costumes?" This was a great project from Art Director Aaron Huffman at The Stranger. It involved two Democratic politicians who were starting to act like Republicans. Animals in suits are a specialty of mine, so I was happy to take the assignment.

Snapshots: Pappy's BBQ

"Snapshots: Pappy's BBQ" Part of a series for the St. Louis Beacon called "Snapshots" that covers local events and points of interest in St. Louis, MO. This particular Snapshot is based on Pappy's BBQ, a popular restaurant known for lines that wrap around the building and rows of shelves filled with BBQ sauce from all over the world. I love being able to use such distinct characteristics of a place to produce an illustration about it.
