"Patufet (Tom Thumb)" Illustrated album of the story of Patufet as compiled by the catalan folklorist Joan Amades. In my search of the original story of this little boy called Patufet, the story itself touches themes which lie in the most profound levels of the unconscious. Images like the ox, the little boy that has to grow, the scatology of the boy that has been swallowed by the ox and that won´t come out until the ox has shitted him... As most of the original stories is not only for children, and doesn´t have a beautiful ending, but it is a rite of passage.
