"Why do you feel unhappy? you are giving too much space to the outside world. And you disappear." This illustration is part of a series of images published by an Italian magazine of psychological issues. The art director asked me to illustrate the theme of self-confidence: to be protagonist of our own life and our own image. I thought I could communicate this concept with a man who lives hidden in a cage which will protect himself from the world, what comes out is just a mere appearance of him, a puppet.
