Annie Leibovitz has set the record straight about one of the most talked-about moments in her career—her 2007 photo shoot with Queen Elizabeth II. The controversy erupted when the BBC aired documentary footage in 2007 that appeared to show the monarch angrily walking out of the shoot after Leibovitz asked her to remove her crown to look "less dressy.” Now, notes Digital Camera World, Leibovitz is setting the record straight. Photographer Edgar Su’s image of Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz (and his shadow), taken at the 2025 Australian Open, is the top winner of the 2026 World Sports Photography Awards. The photograph shows Alcaraz returning a shot, the shadow of his racket perfectly aligned with the ball. This year’s contest broke records, with 23,130 entries from 4,120 photographers across 123 countries. Kodak continues to assume control of its film distribution, notes PetaPixel: Last year it launched with it calls “direct-from-Kodak” films with Kodacolor. Now two classics join the line and new distribution arrangement: Kodak Tri-X Black & White Negative Film and Kodak Ektar Color Negative Film, both available in 135 and 120 format rolls.
