Amy Louise Taylor, lead singer of the Australian pub rock and punk band Amyl and the Sniffers, has accused a photographer of “exploitation of her image” and is suing in a United States court. Taylor filed a complaint in California, accusing photographer Jamie Nelson of selling pictures taken for a Vogue magazine photoshoot as “fine art prints” without her permission, notes The Guardian. Taylor agreed to pose for Nelson, but “at no point” authorized or licensed him the right to make any other commercial use beyond the exclusive magazine issue, the complaint alleges.
