Photographers Tina Modotti and Edward Weston had one of the great, tumultuous artist romances of the 20th century—“a union formed by passion, collaboration, infidelity, and revolutionary politics, all set against the backdrop of Mexico,” notes Artnet, which spotlights the exhibition “Points of Convergence" at Throckmorton Fine Art in New York City through Sept. 13. Social News: Instagram Adds TikTok-Style Repost Feature for Reels

Up until now, Instagram users have had two options for sharing other users' posts: share it on their Instagram Story, which is only live for 24 hours, or collaborate on a post, which requires approval from both users. Now the platform is introducing a repost feature similar to that on TikTok, complete with its own "reposts" tab on users' profiles. Reposts will show up in your friends' feeds and in the “friends” tab on Reels. “Instagram is pushing Reels on its users, and reposts are a surefire way to encourage engagement on Reels,” notes Mashable.   Read the full Story >>

Ballet dancer Cassandra Trenary has been drawn to cameras since playing with her father’s camcorder as a child, growing up in Lawrenceville, Georgia. But it wasn’t until she was given a vintage Nikon F in 2017, while working with the American Ballet Theatre in New York, that her love for taking pictures was truly ignited.
