Photographer Allister Ann’s series “Guise” take you on a intimate journey into a world of connection and vulnerability, notes Dazed. Shot  in the summer of 2015, during Ann’s first year in Los Angeles, the project comprises portraits of the 30 men she went on first dates with over the course of a month. “What was interesting about 2015 was that people were still intrigued at the prospect of being photographed, and it predated everyone always having their phone out to take pictures of everything,” Ann says.   Read the full Story >>

Tech News: Sony's Latest Tele Zoom is Fast and Light

Sony’s newly announced FE 50-150mm f/2 GM tele zoom is a shorter but faster alternative to the traditional 70-200mm f/2.8 lens with a wider aperture that, notes DP Review, will particularly suit photographers of indoor sports and wedding photographers. The lens is the same 200mm (7.9-inch) length as Sony's current 70-200mm F2.8 OSS GM II, though 17 percent wider, at 103mm (4.1-inch). And, while it's a whole stop faster than the longer and stabilized 70-200mm, it's only 30 percent heavier, at 47.27 ounces.   Read the full Story >>

Now in its third year of war, Sudan faces the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. Tens of thousands are reportedly dead, hundreds of thousands are facing famine and 13 million people have been displaced. Among them, notes The Guardian, was Mosab Abushama, 27, who first threw himself into volunteer work, supporting hospitals and emergency food kitchens. The House of Representatives has passed a bipartisan bill that makes it a federal crime to post real and fake sexually explicit imagery online of a person without their consent, sending the legislation that was backed by first lady Melania Trump to the president's desk. The Senate unanimously passed the measure in February, notes CBS News.
