State of the Art: Flux AI Raw Mode 'Captures the Genuine Feel of Candid Photography'

The AI image generator Flux was launched by a group of disgruntled Stable Diffusion researchers, and now, notes PetaPixel, it has released a “raw mode” in its 1.1 version  for “creators seeking authenticity.” The new raw mode “captures the genuine feel of candid photography. Toggle this feature to generate images with a less synthetic, more natural aesthetic,” notes Black Forest Labs, the company behind Flux. Underneath soft light from the moon or the early morning sun, Finnish photographer Mikko Lagerstedt captures “the quiet magic and mystery of Nordic landscapes,” notes Colossal—scenes of both serenity and grandeur, in which ice clings to tree branches, auroras streak through the sky, and vast fields of snow cover the ground.
