Industry News: DSLR Sales Increased by 131.8 Percent. Wait, What?
Are DSLRs dead? New figures released by CIPA (the Camera and Imaging Products Association) suggest they are alive and kicking, notes DIY Photography. Compared to this time last year, the number of DSLR units sold in the U.S. increased by 131.8 percent. At the same time, the mirrorless camera sales saw a 57.1-percent year-on-year decrease.
