Sony announced last week that it was the number one mirrorless brand holding the highest market share for eight years straight. Canon then followed this up by claiming that it was the number one digital camera company, also leading on mirrorless market share. Who’s right? Honor Roll: Winners of the World Nature Photography Awards

U.S. photographer Amos Nachoum is the top prize winner in this year’s World Nature Photography Awards for his image of a leopard seal about to make a meal of a Gentoo penguin. Navhoum captured the scene near the remote island of Plano, off the Antarctic Peninsula. “To my surprise, it let go of the penguin twice,” he noted. “Each time, the seal chased after the penguin again, as if it was enjoying the game,” says Nachoum, adding that in the end, the penguin lost the game. Call for Entries: APA LA's Off the Clock 2022 Competition

APA LA has announced the eleventh annual Off the Clock curated photo competition, an opportunity to present your inspired personal photography to the world. This year, Paul Martineau, the curator of photographs at the J. Paul Getty Museum, will select his top one hundred images from all submissions to the competition.
