Heads up to documentary filmmakers: Do you have a project in need of funding? The Catapult Film Fund provides development funding to documentary filmmakers who have secured access to their story
and are ready to shoot and edit a piece for production fundraising purposes, notes NoFilmSchool. The San Francisco-based org has two funding cycles a year, awarding $100,000 worth of grants per cycle

about Vincent Moschetti, a new-to-analog photographer who documents his experiences at a website called One Year With Film Only. As part of that effort, Moschetti created the Film Dating tool, which allows photographers to figure out what kinds of film stock they prefer. So far, some 38,582

There is more info leaking out about a new Canon medium-format DSLR. It is expected to be announced next month at Photokina, notes CanonWatch, which reports the new camera will feature an EF mount
but may not be named EOS and may not accept all of the EF lenses “due to focal length issues.” PetaPixel points out that Canon’s move into a medium-format market
