PPD Spotlight: Sherrie Nickol's Endless Summer "By the Water"

New York City-based photographer (and Pro Photo Daily reader) Sherrie Nickol’s project “By the Water” is a meditation on the carefree days of summer. “It began a number of years ago, when I was spending part of each summer on the coast of Brittany with my family,” she says. “The beach scene there spoke of another era, with picnicking French families and striped cabanas dotting the beaches.” She has since photographed people frolicking at shorelines from Portugal to Rhode Island.
