In Focus: Skype Creates Project Based on Photog's Work

Back in 2012, PPD spotlighted a unique project by photographer John Clang, who devised a way to create group photographs of members of far-flung families … using Skype. The New York Times Magazine featured the remarkable work, and it seems that Skype also took note: The service recently invited Clang to collaborate on a project called “The Impossible Family Portrait,” in which families are united and photographed via the Internet, and the photographer’s help. It’s a brilliant branding campaign based on a brilliant idea.
