Spotlight: Keri Pickett's "Ice Age" Indiegogo Project

As a photographer, Keri Pickett has shown a liking for quixotic and personal stories: Her first book, about her own grandparents’ lifelong love, earned accolades. Now she is raising Indiegogo funding to create her first video documentary, The Fabulous Ice Age, which she says is about “a century of dancing on ice and one man’s quest to save this history.” That man is her Uncle Roy, an “exotic gypsy” who traveled the world as a skater in ice shows. The project also focuses on Eddie and Roy Shipstad and Oscar Johnson, creators of the Ice Follies. Brilliant.
