Holiday Greetings have been pouring into my inbox from all over the map, necessitating a new DART book prize. This is a contest that has no rules, so I chose one illustration and one photo that made me LOL as the winners in this new annual event.

Stretching into 2013! is from Scott Menchin, a frequent winner in the annual American Illustration competition. Scott will receive a copy of the new, hot-off-the-press AI31—unless he writes to request a copy of AP28 instead.

The winner in the photo category is Judy Orsine of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, whose Reindeer Tracks photo was sent in by her sister, photographer Margaret Morton, whose work has been featured in DART. Judy will receive a copy of AP28--unless she writes in to request a copy of AI31 instead.
