Gear: Looking Into Sony's New Full-Frame Video Camera

By David Schonauer   Friday September 14, 2012

Sony’s new full-frame video camera, the VG900, is getting lots of attention: The camera makes use of the same 24-megapixel full-frame sensor that resides in Sony’s new flagship A99 DSLR. “The VG900 can capture incredible footage, fast and slow, with an amazing amount of depth of field, thanks to its 35mm frame,” notes Fstoppers. Built around the E-mount, the camera can also accept APS-C-coverage lenses and will automatically crop down to accommodate the new coverage while keeping the same 1080p resolution. Go to Cinema 5D for the full specs.
