Thanks to everyone who entered the July Book Prize Contest, from here to Smyrna, Georgia, and beyond.
My exact location is the northern section of Gantry Plaza State Park, in the Hunter's Point section of Long Island City, Queens, NY. This was a tough one because my view (below) was from slightly north of the transfer bridges (above), which make the site immediately identifiable.

Contratulations to the winners! Stephen L. Mabry, a photographer based in North Hollywood, CA gets a copy of American Photograpy 27. Talia Shulze, in the Media Relations Department of the Rubin Museum of Art, gets a copy of American Illustration 30.
