Books: Larry Sultan's Seminal 'Pictures from Home' Is Back

When it was released in 1992, photographer Larry Sultan’s book Pictures from Home received wide acclaim — Martin Parr called it “one of the most significant American photobooks of the 1990s” — and it would go on to influence generations of photographers. The book brought together Sultan’s images of his parents in their home near Palm Springs, California. His goal, he said, was to “stop time. I want my parents to live forever.” Now, notes Dazed, the book is being re-released by MACK.
