By David Schonauer   Friday April 16, 2021

Attorneys for a photographer who was shoved and hit by a Portland, OR, police officer last year have announced a $50,000 settlement with the city over the case, reports KATU. The incident happened after police declared a riot outside the Multnomah Building in Southeast Portland. The photographer, Teri Jacobs, said she was carrying a press badge and tried to get out of the way when the policeman pushed her to the ground and hit her with a baton. Jacobs said it left her with back and head injuries and also broke her camera.
