What We're Reading: The Best Photo Books of 2020
We recently spotlighted the AnOther blog’s list of most striking photo books of 2020. Now Smithsonian magazine has published a list of the 10 best photography books of the past year. Making the cut: Diana Markosian’s Santa Barbara (see our post about the genre-busting book); Scottish photographer Kieran Dodds’s Gingers (portraits of redheads from around the world); Debi Cornwall’s Necessary Fictions, a conceptual take on America’s war of terror; and Tyler Mitchell’s I Can Make You Feel Good, a vision of Black utopia.
