Tech News: Sony Unveils Wireless Shooting Grip for Mirrorless Cameras

In a continued attempt to woo vloggers and travel shooters, Sony has unveiled the GP-VPT2BT—which, notes PetaPixel, is a “wireless shooting grip” for mirrorless cameras that lets users switch seamlessly between shooting video and stills on the run. “[T]his isn’t a ‘grip’ in the traditional sense that allows you to more easily shoot portrait orientation without contorting your arms. This is sort of like an advanced mini tripod," adds DIY Photography. The grip builds on Sony’s previously released GP-VPT1.
