Exhibitions: Meditations on Black Masculinity

By David Schonauer   Tuesday January 14, 2020

"Photography has a way of asking the viewer to question their own biases and preconceived notions. It dares us to at least try to think about our world view from another perspective, even at our own discomfort.” So says photographer Adama Delphine Fawundu, one of the curators of “In Conversation: Visual Meditations on Black Masculinity,” an exhibition featuring the work of 55 women and non-binary photographers of African descent on view at the African American Museum in Philadelphia through March 1. Feature Shoot has the story.
