Tech News: The Improved CamRanger 2

CamRanger, the company that helped to pioneer wirelessly controlling DSLRs with smartphones back in 2012, is now shipping the new and improved CamRanger 2, which, notes PetaPixel, brings users a number of improvements. There’s a new 1/4 20-inch standard tripod screw mount for multiple camera attachment options, and the device now has SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card compatibility. The CamRanger 2 supports 5Ghz wireless networking in addition to the 2.4Ghz of the original, and its range has been doubled from 250 feet to 500 feet.
