Industry News: Adobe Blocks Venezuelan Users to Comply with US Exec Order

People in Venezuela will not be able to use Adobe products such as Photoshop and Premier due to a US government order, notes Engadget: The software giant recently announced that it would be “deactivating all accounts in Venezuela,” citing an US Executive Order issued in August. But journalists and Venezuelan creatives alike are baffled by Adobe’s justification, adds PetaPixel: The executive order covers the blocking of property of the government of Venezuela, and not business relationships with individual citizens of the country.
