By David Schonauer   Friday September 20, 2019

Fujifilm’s newly announced X-A7 is a $700 entry-level mirrorless X Series camera that replaces the X-A5, notes PetaPixel. At the core of the 11.3-ounce camera is a new 24.2-megapixel APS-C (1.5x crop factor) sensor with an ISO range of 200-12800 (expandable to 100-51200). The camera has a continuous shooting speed of 6fps. Compared to the sensor in the X-A5, the new sensor packs 8.5 times more phase-detection pixels across its surface. The autofocus and face-detection capabilities are improved, and the camera is better at shooting moving subjects and in low-light.
