Dept of Ideas: Otherworldly Landscapes Created by Whisky Dregs

By David Schonauer   Thursday July 11, 2019

Photographer Ernie Button was washing dishes when he noticed something beautiful at the bottom of a whisky glass that had contained Scotch whisky (whiskey comes from elsewhere). Through trial and error, Button found that only Scotch whiskies accumulate enough sediment to create his otherworldly images, notes National Geographic.
